Other Islands

A myriad of paths await discovery.

The British Virgin Islands are a collection of stunning islands, not just the well-known ones. Here are a few of the smaller islands that often don't get as much attention:

1. Peter Island: Although it's larger than some of the very tiny isles, Peter Island is often overshadowed by the bigger ones. It's still a gem, featuring beautiful beaches, excellent anchoragess, and great snorkeling spots.

2. Cooper Island: This tiny island is known for its peaceful atmosphere and fantastic diving and snorkeling opportunities. It's also home to a charming eco-resort with beachside bars and d a restaurant..

3. Marina Cay: With its small size and pristine beaches, Marina Cay is a perfect spot for relaxation and water activities like snorkeling and paddleboarding. The island is mostly deserted but now has a new restaurant

4. Sandy Cay: although tiny in size, is a picturesque uninhabited island located near Jost Van Dyke. It boasts pristine white sand beaches, crystal-clear waters perfect for snorkeling, and is a popular stop for day trips and picnics among visitors exploring the British Virgin Islands.

5. Great Camanoe: This island is primarily residential but offers some beautiful secluded beaches and calm waters for swimming and snorkeling.

6. Scrub Island: Located just off the coast of Tortola, Scrub Island is home to a luxury resort and marina. It's a great destination for those seeking upscale accommodations and amenities.

7. Mosquito Island: Despite its less-than-inviting name, Mosquito Island is actually quite picturesque, with pristine beaches and crystal-clear waters. It's a private island owned by a luxury resort.

8. Salt Island: is renowned for its historical significance, notably the wreck of the RMS Rhone, a British mail steamer that sank off its coast in 1867 during a hurricane. The RMS Rhone is now one of the most famous dive sites globally, attracting divers to explore its underwater remains marine life that has made it their home.
